ARTS AND AESTHETIC VISIT ON 19/11/2019
Arts and aesthetic visit was conducted on 19/11/2019 at kuthiramalika near padmanabhaswamy temple. It was a good experience.
Built in the 1840s, Kuthiramalika is an example of traditional kerala architecture with its typical sloping roofs, overhanging eaves, pillared verandahs and enclosed courtyards. Intricate carvings adorn the wooden ceilings, with each room having a distinctive pattern. The construction of the palace was completed by 5000 Vishvabrahmins(വിശ്വകർമ്മജർ) in four years.
We had a great experience in such a place and thankful to Dr Maya S and Dr Ancy A S for selecting such an apt place for the visit.
