  Web 2.0 Lab

 Online teaching practice starts amidst the Covid 19 situation. Classes took for 8 and 9 standard.It started from  November 30 to December 4. It was a nice experience to interact with students. 

  Remembering Our dear Laji sir It was literally a great loss for us, such good person. We Theophilians paid our tribute to our dearest Sir. Condolence meeting was organised today via gmeet.

  The consentization class was taken with the topic online classes and health issues.Students responded nicely.

 As  part of our B.Ed internship it is mandatory to take face to face classes for school students. But in the present pandemic situation there is no usual school classes. So the university decided to give us face to face online classes for students of 8th and 9th and today I started my internship with 9th standard class. I joined Govt Girls Higher Secondary School Neyyattinkara for my internship Today I took Chemistry class. It was indeed a great experience for me as a teacher I thank the almighty my parents my teachers and all my Gurus well wishers of mine at this moment.

  Physical education class by Dr George Thomas We had the first session of physical education class by our newly appointed George Thomas sir. Discussed about preparing nutrition chart and health chart. Given as a format to prepare the same

  Today 24th of November completed the team teaching sessions with the last team of members Reshma aparna sofi  Surya and myself . It was a good class.We conducted assessment through a puzzle.   Today the 23rd of November morning 8:45 we had XI team teaching session by the team led by Mohit paniker.Other team members where Aswathy A S, Anju lekshmi ,Neena and Merlin.  The team discussed about the topic from 9th standard textbook Gravitation.   Today the tenth team teaching session was completed success mini by the team Anju Lakshmi, Archana,faslana, Sofy mol, and annatte. 350 topic Rutherford atomic model through to the Virtual lab PHET, a video and PowerPoint presentation the class was very good and they gained very positive comments from the observers.  you can watch the class through this YouTube 

  The semester 3 BEd. examination time table has been arrived. Exam is supposed to be conducted on 18th of December 2020. There are three papers.

  Today the physical science department conducted the 9th team teaching session on the topic States of matter the team consists of the members Surya s karun, Deepika Annette, Aleena and Mohit Panicker. The team got appropriate observational comments from the peer group.

  Today we conducted  the 7th team teaching session with the team Deepika, anjima, Aswathy Neena and Surya with the topic metals and nonmetals using demonstration and ICT enabled explanation it was almost wonderful class with powerful set induction. The assessment was done using match and match segment. Some glimpses of the class are included here.

  Due to the prevailing conditions of covid-19 pandemic situation the university e of Kerala decided to to make some changes in the B.Ed curriculum for the 2019-2021 batch as part of the change 15 lesson templates should be made by observing the first Bell program of kite victers channel and their respective feedback schedules The list of lesson templates that we are going to to make and it the digital text making details are given

School induction was conducted inorder to have a bondage to schools and to understand the working of a school.I got the opportunity to visit Cotton Hill School , Vazhuthacaud.It was a memorable experience.                       Government Higher Secondary School for Girls Cottonhill , is a school for girls located in  Vazhuthacaud  in the city of  Thiruvananthapuram , the capital of the Indian state of  Kerala

 The topic was MAGNETISM. Skills handled were skill of reinforcement, skill of demonstration and skill of explainig.   .

 

 Today's link lesson teaching practice was handled by Neena, Riya, Reshma and Mohith.

 

 My 2 nd phase of link lesson teaching practice was  conducted today. Topic handled was PASCAL'S LAW. Skills were skill of reinforcement,  skill of problem solving and skill of explanation

 Link lesson teaching practice started on 17/09/2020. This will definitely improve our teaching skills with peer group evaluation.

An Inter - training college quiz competition was held on January 10 for St.KURIAKOSE ELIAS CHAVARA MEMORIAL EVER ROLLING TROPHY by Christ Nagar College of Education,  Thiruvallam. 12 teams were participated in the competition.  I got an oppurtunity to participate in the competition along with Roji Rajan of our college qnd we got 2 Runner Up trophy. Really the competition was so informative.

 A 10 day tour was organised by the 64th college union.

A dance promo for tour was arranged by DANSPIRATION.  

"VIBRANCE"- National science was celebrated by Physical Science Optional on 28/02/2020. A Crossword Puzzle competition was organised and it was a great success. 

On 24/01/2020 Republic day was celebrated.Physical science students conducted a quiz competition regarding the republic day.

Theosa fest was conducted by the 64th college union. This fest was organised for the alumni members of MTTC. The fest was a great success.

 X MAS celebration was celebrated grandly by the 64th college union on 20/12/2019.

     Arts fest was conducted on 18/12/2019. The veteran film actor Sri Innocent inaugurated the fest "VEYILPOOKKAL". I participated in Classical music, Malayalam Recitation, Maapilapaat,  Thiruvaathira,Group Song etc. With God's grace I became the Kalathilakam.

      SPARKZ 2K19 was organised by he 63rd college union on 16/12/2019. Two day programme was conducted. Number of students from various colleges participated inth fest.I participated in Mehendi designing and also in Quiz competition. Got 1 prize in mehendi designing and 4 place in quiz competition.

 Food fest was held on 13/12/2019 at MTTC.  We had a lot of things to eat and share . We the physical science students came with something special named "KANTHAREES". Our main item was "Pazhakanji" and"Kappa - Meenkari". We got a good amount as profit. So many students and teachers from near by institutions visit our stalls.
